Glad you asked. We’re a transfer comparison site where you can compare thousands of transfer companies in one easy online location and book the best deal for wherever you need to go, whether you need the cheapest price or a touch of luxury. Find a price and transfer type that’s right for you – from private cars to shared shuttles, and everything in between – plus, see star ratings and real passenger reviews to help you make an informed decision about which transfer company to book.

How can I get a quote for an airport transfer?

Easy! You can get a quote by searching for your pick-up and drop-off locations on our Find Transfer page. Enter the airport name and the full address of wherever you need to go or be picked up from, whether it’s a hotel, residential address, cruise ship terminal or tourist attraction.

For an accurate price, please be sure to complete the number of passengers travelling, the date of travel and your flight time (don’t forget to include details for both legs of your trip if you are booking a return transfer).

All prices are the total price for all passengers travelling, and are based on the full travel details you provide, which means if you’re travelling with children, you need to include them in the total number of passengers.

How do I get a cheap airport transfer with Jayride.com?

It’s as easy as going to Jayride.com, searching where you need to go, comparing thousands of transfer companies, booking your transfer, then sitting back, relaxing and enjoying your transfer. We work with thousands of transfer companies to ensure we can offer cheap and competitive prices.

I’d like to make a booking for an airport transfer

Great! Once you have a quote from our Find Transfer page (by entering your pick-up and drop-off locations) you can confirm your booking by entering your passenger, flight, and payment details, and clicking Confirm Payment. Once you see your booking confirmation page, your booking has been processed and sent to your selected transfer company. You will then receive an email confirming your booking and contact details for your transfer company so you can organise pick-up times and where to meet.

What’s the difference between a transfer company and Jayride.com?

Your transfer company is the company that you choose to provide your airport transfer. Jayride.com is a search and comparison site – we work with thousands of transfer companies across the world so you can find the airport transfer that’s right for you in one easy, convenient online location. Simply compare, book and enjoy your airport transfer.

What’s included in the price?

All prices listed on Jayride.com are inclusive of taxes, tolls, airport parking, admin fees, fuel, environmental surcharges and any other standard fees typically included for a standard point-to-point transfer. You don’t pay any extra for these. Any additional requirements such as child seats or extra luggage may incur an additional cost. Your transfer company will confirm this with you when you make your booking.

What’s the difference between shared and private transfers?

When booking your airport transfer, you have the option of booking a private transfer or shared shuttle. Shared shuttle means you’re booking a seat on a vehicle, and will likely be sharing with others, and as such will generally be cheaper. Journey times will take longer with a shared shuttle and pick-up times are usually determined by the transfer company. A private transfer is your own private vehicle for your transfer and a faster journey with flexible pick-up times.

Do you only offer transfers to and from airports?

At this stage, Jayride.com offers transfers that are to or from an airport. All online bookings require an airport as a to or from location, and you can then travel to and from hotels, tourist destinations, cruise terminals and private residential addresses.

When should I book my airport transfer?

You can book your airport transfer as soon as you’ve booked your flight and have a flight number. Ideally you should consider booking your airport transfer at least 24 hours before your time of travel to avoid any last-minute stress, but if you require a transfer with less notice, simply put your flight time and details when making a booking and choose from any of the available transfer companies.

Do I need to book my flight before I book a transfer?

We definitely recommend booking your flight before booking your airport transfer, so that you can enter your flight number and we can provide accurate details of your arrival time to your transfer company. Your flight time can also affect the price of your transfer, so it’s important to book your flight first.

Can I book baby seats/oversized or extra luggage/disabled access?

You can book baby seats, extra luggage, and any other items by requesting these on your booking form in the extras fields. Please be aware that extra items and other requirements may incur additional fees from your transfer company. They will try their best to accommodate you, but if unable to then you can Contact Support.

For disabled access, only some of our transfer companies are equipped to provide disabled access with their vehicles. At this time, our website does not support booking for disabled access without prior contact with our transfer companies. Before booking, please Contact Support and let our team know that you require disabled access for your airport transfer.

After you book

Do I need to confirm my booking with Jayride.com?

Once you’ve made your booking, we’ll notify your transfer company. You’ll see a booking confirmation page and also receive a confirmation email with your transfer company’s details. You can then contact your transfer company to organise a pick-up time. You do not need to confirm your booking with Jayride.com.
Note: If you don’t receive a confirmation email for some reason, double check your email junk folder, and check the email address you provided is correct. If you still don’t have a booking confirmation email, contact our Customer Support team. (If you have typed in your email address incorrectly, simply email bookings@jayride.com with your booking ID and correct details and we’ll fix it up for you.)

Can I make changes to my booking?

If you need to change the time and date (for instance if your flight time changes) of your booking or your contact details, then contact us using our online form or via email at bookings@jayride.com with your booking ID and desired changes, and we can update your booking for you.

If you need to make any changes to your booking that alter the price, (for example, changing location or the number of people travelling), then you need to cancel your original booking and create a new one. Our support team can advise the best course of action for you, so please don't hesitate to contact us if you need some help.

Please note: We are unable to update your booking within 24 hours of travel. Any updates within 24 hours of travel need to be made directly with your transfer company by contacting them using the details on your booking confirmation.

How do I cancel my booking?

We’re sad to see you go, but we understand that these things happen. If you need to cancel your booking, please first read our Refunds and Cancellations Policy.

To cancel your booking, click Manage Booking at the top or our website, enter your booking ID and the email address that you used for making your booking, then click on the green 'Manage My Booking' button. When you can see your booking details, click the 'Cancel Booking' button, add a reason for cancelling your booking, and then click the 'Confirm Cancellation' button. Once requested, you will be able to see that your booking has been cancelled. If your cancellation is confirmed more than 24 hours before your pick-up time, you will receive a full refund. Please see our Refunds and Cancellations Policy for more details.

Remember: If you also need to cancel a return transfer, you need to treat these as two separate bookings as they have separate booking IDs, and cancel them both. If you cancel only one transfer and not the other, you will not be eligible for a refund for the non-cancelled transfer.

If for some reason you are unable to cancel your booking yourself, please email bookings@jayride.com with your booking ID in the subject line.

How do I contact my driver?

Once your booking is complete, you’ll receive an email with the contact details of your transfer company so you can organise a pick-up time and location.

What else do I need to know before I travel?

Before you travel, it’s important to make sure you’ve done the following:

  • Confirm your pick-up time and meeting point with your transfer company and driver.
  • Double check all of your booking details are correct.
  • Check your email for any correspondence from your transfer company or Jayride.com. Make sure you’ll have a phone when you travel. If travelling overseas, make sure roaming is enabled on your mobile phone to allow you to make and receive calls and SMS messages. Your driver and/or transfer company may need to contact you, and vice versa.

During and after travel

Where do I meet my driver?

Once you make your booking, you’ll receive meeting instructions from your transfer company. If you’re still unsure about where to meet your driver, simply contact them directly. Their contact details will be provided in your booking confirmation email.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Please contact your transfer company as soon as you can to let them know you are delayed. You will find their contact details on your Jayride.com booking confirmation. 

How do I get a refund?

The first step is to make sure you read our Refunds and Cancellations Policy. You are eligible for a 100% refund on your booking, with no cancellation fees, for cancellations greater than 24 hours prior to your pick-up departure time.

You are not eligible for any refund on your booking for cancellations 24 hours or less prior to your pick-up departure time.

If something went wrong at the time of travel, please Contact Support to request a refund.

Help – my driver hasn’t arrived, what do I do?

First, don’t panic. If you’re unable to find your driver, here’s what to do:

  • Double check your pick-up time and meeting point, as organised with your driver. If you’re not sure you’re at the correct airport location, ask someone at an airport help booth to help find your transfer company.
  • Check your email for any correspondence from your transfer company.
  • Ensure your phone is turned on and able to receive calls and SMS messages. If travelling overseas, make sure you have a roaming plan that allows you to use your phone.
  • Call your transfer company using the details provided in your booking confirmation email.

 

If you can’t contact the transfer company and your driver still hasn’t arrived:

  • Make sure you don’t miss your flight if travelling to an airport. Find alternative means of transport like a taxi, friend or Uber.
  • Notify Jayride.com via email as soon as possible with evidence that your driver did not pick you up at the designated pick-up area. Jayride.com will contact the transfer company and initiate the refund process.

 

Can I provide feedback about my driver and transfer company?

Yes! We love hearing about your experiences, both positive and negative, so we can ensure we are providing you with excellent airport transfer companies now, and in the future. We’ll send you an email 24 hours after you’ve travelled asking you to review your transfer company and driver.
